Elongation Of Cold Rolled Ribbed Steel Bars
The elongation of the cold rolled ribbed steel bar is the percentage (%) of the elongation of the hardened body of the cold-rolled ribbed steel bar in original length(%) under the tensile force. The elastic recovery rate refers to the degree (%) of whether the deformation of the hardened body of the sealing material can be completely recovered, the greater the elongation, and the greater the elastic recovery rate, indicating that the deformation adaptability of the cold rolled ribbed steel bar is better.
According to the technical personnel of Gongyi Jindi Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd, the elongation of cold rolled ribbed steel bars refers to the percentage of the elongation length of the steel-reinforced specimens in the original length when the metal material is broken by external force (tension). Elongation is divided according to the length of the sample: the elongation obtained by the short sample, code δ5, the gauge length of the sample is equal to the elongation obtained by 5 times the length of the sample; code δ10, test The gauge length is equal to 10 times the diameter, where the gauge length is the original length of the sample portion used to determine the strain or length change of the sample.
Method for determining the maximum total elongation of cold rolled ribbed steel bars
The minimum free length between the specimen holders is 350 mm.
2. Marking and measurement of the original gauge length
Within the free length of the sample, divided into 10 mm or 5 mm equidistant marks evenly, the division and measurement of the mark should meet the relevant requirements of GB/T228.
3. Tensile test
The tensile test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 228 until the sample breaks.
4. Measurement after fracture
Two markers, Y and V, were chosen and the distance between the two markers should be at least 100 mm before the tensile test. Both marks should be on the side of the clamp that is furthest from the break point. The distance between the two marks leaving the fixture should be no less than 20mm; the distance between the two marks and the break point should be no less than 50mm.
